It is famed for its lucid, forceful voices, the unparalleled accuracy of its pitch, and its perfect harmony. Listening to this supreme a cappella group perform makes one aware of the evolution of art in voice form. The program at ATM revolves around Rachmaninov’s masterpiece, the “All-Night Vigil” (also known as “Vespers”), but also includes pieces from Takemitsu’s Songs II collection, others by Debussy, and those by various Scandinavian composers.
